Boards were fine. The dowel holes absolutely did not line up. And some were at an angle as it protruded from the board. Not one board to another, no matter which way the boards were flipped over trying to find an alignment. For that issue it could drop the rating to 3 because it is a process to make new holes properly drilled straight and at the right measure.
The basswood boards are perfect
